It seems there is only one consensus among the bourgeoisie to exclude the left parties, in this new, much touted, Brazilian political reform. This explains the FUX vote. Argument that this shameless MPs and senators did not know they had to be honest. This is one of many reasons why the intellectual culture is so despised in Brazil. In general, supposed intellectuals, mentioning many books (which are generally true "glue"of many others, as is common in the culture of law in Brazil) to defend things absolutely gut. This is another example of the famous Chico Anisio said: "Words are words, nothing more than words." Meanwhile the culture of cynicism spreads in Brazil, in schools, institutions and homes. We then see the result in the educational indicators of the country. Cynicism leads to skepticism, which in turn halts the best intentions of both individuals and society.

Food for thought. But some ingredient needs to b changed. What is it?

What is worse is that this behavior, indicating an opinion and vote for another - is typical of politics in Brazil. This avoids the criticism before the public betrayal. Once the damage is done, by the standards of Brazilian law, it is very difficult to change them because of the doctrine of legal certainty. And all the other issues we need to mobilize public opinion well in advance, to guard against the usual betrayals. For example, in the last election a presidential candidate (Dima subsequently elected) hit the button against privatization. The first thing she said when she took over as president was that the government would privatize the airports. In this respect as in many others we need to be aware much earlier.

Is there a plan in the drawer to build 50 nuclear power plants.

That without there having been no "discussion with society," as the leaders of the PT, the majority party in this government, like to say. Therefore it is important to stop the construction of Angra III plant, which already has a decree to start. Unless we begin to act now against this authoritarianism, we will have those 50 nuclear power plants as a fait accompli. The question that people want to hear is: We want to or not to invest in nuclear power? What other alternatives do we have? If possible we should consult the people through a plebiscite. Otherwise, it will be a demonstration of the hierarchy. And just as the military was deployed in the mid 70's with the best arguments for development, blah-blah-blah, that made us literally sinking into a monstrous foreign debt.

I believe we must invest in research. For Brazil, which has only 1% of the energy in nuclear power, would be a safer way. Any mode can cause damage. At least the thing should not be a military secret, we need a broader discussion.

That would be funny if it Were not scary.
